I purchased a pair of Lamo slippers way back in 2014 or 2015 at Big 5. The were fantastic. I'd been buying cheapo slippers from Walmart for $10, and I got about $10 worth of use out of them before the soles cracked in half and the slippers fell apart. The Walmart brand were useless at keeping rain water out when I stepped in a shallow puddle. Not much worse than wet, cold feet. My new Lamos did a wonderful job because the sole reaches up over ½ inch. I still have my first pair. When my first pair started wearing out a bit, I sought a new pair and discovered that there was a sheepskin version of the Romeo. Wow! Warmth! They keep my tootsies so warm!
I have since purchased another pair of the synthetic fiber Romeos. They are everything the old ones are and a bit better.
I just received my latest pair of sheepskin Romeos. I love them! Warm, snuggly. Real sheepskin wool is so much better at providing warmth than synthetic fiber. Unless Lamo's quality goes down, I will never buy anything else and recommend them to my friends and relatives.
I've read a lot about size problems. My nee slipoers are, if anything a little loose and that's fine. They are a ½ siz larger than my normal shoe size anyway.
The wool will pack out so although they might feel tight at first, as long as they do not cut off your circulation, I'd would stick with the correct size.
